Properties of oils
Olive oil:
Cold-pressed olive oil is a fairly oily oil that is absorbed slowly by the skin. It is a classic and well-used ingredient in cold-pressed soap and is suitable for dry or chapped skin. It is also suitable for facial cleansing and for treating dry and damaged hair. Olive oil is rich in omega-9 and vitamin E.
Sunflower oil:
Cold-pressed sunflower oil is a mild oil that is quickly absorbed by the skin and provides good protection for the skin while also being moisturizing. Sunflower oil is rich in omega-6.
Castor oil:
Cold-pressed castor oil is an oily and viscous oil that is not absorbed well by the skin and locks in or out moisture.
Lavender essential oil:
Lavender essential oil, also called lavender oil, is suitable for all skin types. It stimulates cell renewal and is a good choice for mature skin but can also be used for eczema and acne. Lavender is also anti-inflammatory and wound-healing, making it suitable for wounds or burns.
